Due to inclement weather, NYC Public Schools buildings are CLOSED on 1/26. School will be in session remotely only for students scheduled to attend school on this day.

Due to inclement weather, New York City Public Schools buildings are CLOSED on Monday, January 26.

School will be in session remotely only for students scheduled to attend school on this day.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch through Monday, January 26. 
 
Snow has started to accumulate and will continue through Monday afternoon on January 26.

EXCEPTION: due to the professional development day, students that attend high schools and schools that serve only grades 6-12 are not scheduled to attend school on January 26. School will not be in session remotely for those students.

ALERT: All other students – including students who are in grades 6-8 in K-8 or middle schools - are expected to participate in remote learning.
 
Children attending LYFE or a 3K or Pre-K program in an elementary school or Pre-K Center should participate in the remote learning experiences outlined by their program.
 
All after-school activities, Public Schools Athletic League (Public Schools Athletic League activities, adult education, and YABC programs are canceled on Monday, January 26.

Family Welcome Centers will be closed on Monday, January 26 and will operate virtually. 
 
For safety reasons, yellow bus service for charter and non-public school students will not operate on Monday, January 26.
 
Safety is of the utmost importance. If you must travel, use extreme caution and allow for additional travel time.
